Hi! My name is Chinns. And, I am currently interning at Midas PR.

When I was a little kid, I had dreamt about what it would be like to be an intern. Duties of interns in movies that I grew up watching were always getting coffee, running errands and re-organizing shelves. These stereotypes were engraved in my head until I got into university and was given an opportunity to be one.

I had never stepped into the field of PR before interning at Midas PR and so far it has exceeded my expectations of internship, at least I am not re-organizing shelves! Interning here at Midas PR has been a rewarding experience as I have learned so much in just a few weeks. There are perks of being an intern, we can gain valuable hands-on experience from seniors and explore different fields and types of work that we are interested in. From recruiting new clients to preparing proposals for clients, I am given the chance to try out new things.

Being an intern is a crucial step for developing our early careers and getting to know about ourselves what we aspire to be. Even if the internship is not related to our future career, we can still benefit a lot from the experience and broaden our mindset and horizons. For me, after only just a few weeks, I not only know what I want out of a job but also the kind culture at the workplace.

An internship is a great platform to transition from university life to working in the real world. It allows you to learn, experience, inquire and also to learn from your mistakes. Most importantly, you develop a better version of ourselves and being surrounded by the warm family in Midas PR, I would like to express my gratitude to Karin, Tony and all the colleagues that worked with me and for giving me this fruitful and fun internship experience!
